Event Description:
Spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon touring some of the most beautiful gardens in Azle.
Tickets are just $15 to tour 6 local gardens.
All proceeds benefit Azle Beautification.

2017 Azle Garden Tour
1.Deer Cove Event Center-Artfully landscaped, with surprise gardens nestled here and there, this delightful venue incorporates native plants, “rescued” plants, and nursery specimens with imported pottery, garage sale finds, and original ironware. Lunch may be bought and enjoyed here!
2.Folk Art Garden-What an outpouring of creativity! This Master Gardener, who moved from New York State, has planned and planted a seamless blend of shade, sun, water, and xeriscape plants in less than 3 years. One huge transplanted agave is a focal point in the front, and a large lushly-planted pond graces the back yard.
3.Southern Comfort-Tucked away behind a perimeter of towering magnolias, this seamless assembly of charming outdoor “rooms” is cozy with hydrangeas, massed daylilies, and large pool area. A beautiful English-style garden, winding down toward the lake, incorporates a children’s play area.
4.Dramatic Expanse-This lakeside stone and glass compound of structures sits on several acres of grassy lawn, well-edited walks and patios, and pockets gardens. Large concrete containers overflow with colorful flowers for easy maintenance. Tennis court, pool, and putting green complete the calm retreat. 5.Sunken Garden-Instead of filling in a lower level of yard, this ingenious couple turned it into a dramatic sunken garden, now the centerpiece of their circular drive. Foundation plantings frame and enhance this lovely traditional home, set back from the street. A variety of textures and colors adds interest around the yard, which has wonderful views of Eagle Mountain Lake.
6.Landscaper’s Dream-Pretty beds of flowers and shrubs greet you as you enter this front yard. However, these landscape company owners pulled out all the stops when they planned their backyard paradise. A well-appointed outdoor kitchen and a pool which flows into sky and lake sit amidst a riot of gorgeous flowers.
