EECU is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Financial Center Manager who is focused on taking care of our customers and creating a customer-centric environment.  This will be for our upcoming Hudson Oaks Financial Center.

The financial center manager is focused on building lasting relationships with customers, building relationships in the community, and with employees. The manager will direct all aspects of the financial center and is responsible for growing the business related to loans, deposits, and ancillary products and referrals.  In addition, the manager will coach and mentor all employees to ensure expectations are met.  The financial manager will be responsible for direct oversight of the financial center. This position is responsible for driving financial center performance, sales growth, customer satisfaction through visible leadership, performance management, collaborative key partnerships, prioritization, planning, and problem resolution while adhering to assigned center P&L and budgets.

Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA/FACTA, and Service Members Civil Relief. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.

Job responsibilities:

  • Creates a customer centric financial center culture that focuses on creating exceptional customer experience.  
  • Through visible leadership, encourages team members to provide an exceptional customer experience along with an engaging culture
  • Ability to set the tone of the financial center to provide an exceptional customer experience and culture.
  • Ensures that customers are educated in how to use the EECU mobile banking as needed.  
  • Participates in community events to build the EECU brand and focused on building partnerships with local community market.   
  • Responsible for coaching, developing, motivating and supporting employees to ensure overall financial center goals and targets are met.   
  • Ensure that a control environment and procedures are followed for the financial centers. 
  • Drives overall financial center performance, sales growth, customer satisfaction and other key categories.  

Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and skills:

  • Three to five years minimum experience in retail financial services, financial center leadership or related experience 
  • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required for this role. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters including direct and indirect reports and outside vendors.
  • Proven leader with outstanding leadership experience, with a proven successful record of coaching and empowering employees to improve results.
  • Ability to organize and manage competing priorities effectively. 
  • Excellent customer and business focus, with strong change management, communication, and interpersonal skills.  
  • Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.     
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.     
  • Experience coaching employees and leadership to increase production, sentiment, and overall retail performance. Ability to successfully influence employee behaviors. 
  • Experience with sales processes, operations, and data analytics. 
  • Must possess problem-solving and resolution skills. Ability to identify and break down complex business problems and develop recommendations.
  • Must be an excellent communicator both oral and written.  Excellent organization and time management. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred
  • Financial Center hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturdays 9am-1pm
